Organised by our Conservation Officer, Jan Clemons, this is a great opportunity for a limited group (max 15 people) to visit Parley Common - purchased by ARC in 2021 with financial support from the BHS.
This field visit will be led by Gary Powell, the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust’s Dorset Reserves Officer. Depending on the weather it may be possible to see all 6 species of British reptiles in just one day. It will also provide the opportunity to see how the sites are managed for reptile populations.
Places are very limited and are on a first come, first served basis. A detailed programme & directions will be sent nearer the date to all registrants. All YHC members must be accompanied by a supervising adult. This event is only available to BHS members - you will need to be logged in as a member to book.
In event of any problems booking, please contact

There is a great speaker line up and the one day conference is sure to include many interesting discussions.
